As a Republican candidate for Supervisor of Elections in Alachua County, Florida, I bring a wealth of leadership and organizational experience cultivated over 11 years as a resident and a Registered Nurse. Election Integrity has become my newfound passion.

During my tenure in Alachua County, I’ve encountered frustrations in obtaining explanations and data from the Supervisor of Elections (SOE) office regarding election procedures. I’ve actively participated as a poll worker on EVID machines, a poll watcher, an observer during ballot canvassing sessions, a participant in signature match comparisons, and a voter registration researcher. Collaborating with election integrity volunteers in organizations such as Defend Florida, Florida Fair Elections Coalition, and Impact Alachua, I’ve come to the realization that meaningful change in Alachua can only be achieved from within. As a dedicated Registered Nurse, my professional focus has been on promoting maternal and infant health, and now, this passion extends to ensuring the health of our electoral processes.

My objectives revolve around transforming Alachua County into a model of election excellence rather than the current source of embarrassment. My commitments include:

• Managing an election system that instills confidence in our citizens regarding the integrity of our election outcomes.
• Ensuring transparency in the processing and counting of votes.
• Addressing and reducing the influence of proprietary interests that hinder public access to vital information.
• Empowering citizens by minimizing the influence of the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) organization at the county level.
• Establishing the cleanest voter rolls and conducting the smoothest elections in the state of Florida.
• Collaborating with citizen research groups to proactively identify and resolve questionable registrations, thus ensuring the legitimacy of our electoral processes.

A vote for me ensures non-partisan fairness within our SOE office and guarantees that citizens have access to the transparent data necessary to verify adherence to statutes and laws. By taking a proactive approach to addressing issues, we can preempt election day problems such as faulty ballots or ballot shortages, as witnessed in 2022.
